Privacy Policy

About This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Uni Pitch Master mobile application ("App") and its companion website at referee2276.com, both operated by Uni Pitch Master developed by Codesignful ("we," "our," or "us"). It describes the limited information we handle when you install and use the App, when you visit the website, and when you contact us through either of them. By installing the App or using the website, you agree to the practices set out below.
The App is a self-contained match-management tool. It does not require an account, does not ask for personal contact details to function, and stores your match records on your device. The information we do handle is described in the next section.
Data We Handle
Automatically Collected Information
When you first launch the App, the following information is generated or read automatically:
- Anonymous Identifier. A randomly generated identifier is created on your device the first time the App runs. It is not tied to your name, email, or any other personal detail. It exists only to help us understand aggregate usage and to attribute installs (see Advertising Attribution below).
- Device Language and Region. The App reads your device's language and region setting so it can display content appropriately and so installation analytics can be grouped by region.
- Privacy Acceptance Status. Your acceptance of this Privacy Policy is recorded on your device only. It is never transmitted to our servers.
The App also requests the standard network permissions (Internet, network state, Wi-Fi state) needed to load the Privacy Policy and Support pages and to perform attribution. These permissions do not, on their own, transmit any information about you.
Advertising Attribution
The App uses AppsFlyer, a mobile attribution and marketing analytics service, to understand how new users discover and install the App. For this purpose the App handles:
- Google Advertising ID (GAID). A resettable advertising identifier provided by Google Play Services.
- Attribution Source and Campaign Name. Information about whether the install came from organic discovery or a specific marketing channel or campaign.
- AppsFlyer Installation Identifier. A unique identifier generated by AppsFlyer that is tied to the App installation on your device.
- Install Referrer. Information AppsFlyer obtains from the Play Store about how you arrived at the App's listing.
The Anonymous Identifier described above is also shared with AppsFlyer so that attribution data can be linked to a single install. AppsFlyer additionally collects standard device information (such as IP address, device model, and operating system version) as part of its normal operation. The full list of data AppsFlyer processes is described in their privacy policy: https://www.appsflyer.com/legal/services-privacy-policy/.
You can reset your Google Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized advertising entirely, in your device's settings under Settings → Google → Ads. After a reset, future attribution events will be associated with the new identifier.
Built-in Browser
The App contains a built-in browser used to display the Privacy Policy and the Support page directly inside the App, without leaving it. The built-in browser does not gather any additional information beyond what is described in this Privacy Policy. Like any modern browser, it supports cookies (including third-party cookies) and local storage so that pages loaded inside the App behave the same way they would in a standalone browser. Any websites loaded in the built-in browser operate under their own privacy practices.
Support and Bug Reports
The App's Support page provides a contact form you can use to send us a question or report a problem. The form is optional — the App and the website work without it — and we only receive what you choose to enter. The fields are:
- Your name
- Your email address (so we can reply)
- A description of your question or the issue you encountered
- An optional file attachment (for example, a screenshot, image, or document). When you tap the attachment field, your device's standard file picker opens. From there you can pick an existing file or take a new photo or video using your device's built-in camera app.
The App itself does not access your camera or your file storage directly. Photo and video capture, and file selection, are handled entirely by your device's own apps. We use the information you submit only to respond to your inquiry and to resolve the issue you reported.
Local App Data
The App stores all match-related data — matches, scores, cards, substitutions, draw results, referee notes, player rosters, application preferences, and the onboarding-completed flag — locally on your device using the operating system's standard storage mechanisms. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us. You can clear all match data from inside the App's Settings screen at any time, or remove everything by uninstalling the App.
How We Use This Information
The information described above is used only for the purposes for which it is collected:
- To provide and operate the App and the website
- To localize content based on your device's language and region
- To understand how users discover and install the App, so we can evaluate marketing channels
- To respond to support requests and bug reports you send us
- To diagnose technical issues and improve the App over time
We do not use any of this information for profiling, behavioral advertising inside the App, or any purpose unrelated to operating the App and the website.
Third Parties and Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share specific data only with the following third parties, and only to the extent needed for the purposes listed above:
- AppsFlyer — for install attribution and marketing analytics. AppsFlyer receives the data items listed in the Advertising Attribution section. Privacy policy: https://www.appsflyer.com/legal/services-privacy-policy/
- Google Play Services — the Google Advertising ID is provided and managed by Google. Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
We do not share the contents of your match records, your support messages, or any locally stored data with third parties.
Data Retention
Different items have different retention rules:
- Anonymous Identifier: persists on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
- Local match data and preferences: persist on your device until you clear them from the App's Settings screen, clear the App's data through your device settings, or uninstall the App.
- Google Advertising ID: managed by Google Play Services. You can reset it at any time in your device settings.
- AppsFlyer installation identifier and attribution data: retained by AppsFlyer in line with their own retention policies (see their privacy policy linked above).
- Support messages you send us: kept for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, and then deleted.
Cookies and local storage created by websites loaded in the built-in browser follow the standard expiration rules set by those websites. You can clear them by clearing the App's data in your device settings.
Your Control
You retain control over the limited information the App handles:
- Reset or limit your Google Advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads.
- Use the "Delete all match history" option in the App's Settings screen to remove all match-related data you have created.
- Clear the App's data through your device's system settings to also remove the Anonymous Identifier and any cookies stored by the built-in browser.
- Uninstall the App at any time. Uninstalling removes all locally stored data.
- Decline to use the Support form — it is entirely optional.
- Contact us using the details below to ask what information we hold about you, or to request its deletion.
Network Security
Information transmitted between the App and our servers is sent over standard internet connections. Most connections are encrypted using HTTPS. Some auxiliary requests may use unencrypted HTTP; these never carry personal information or sensitive data. We apply industry-standard practices to protect the limited information we receive, but no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information through the Support form, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, the website, or applicable law. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always show when the most recent revision took effect. Continued use of the App or the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
